TROAS, Ilium. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (19mm, 3.83 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Hector, nude but for helmet, standing facing, head left, holding spear and sheathed sword. RPC VII.1 41; Bellinger T284. Dark green patina with touches of red, cleaning scratches. Fine. Very rare, the authors of RPC cite only one specimen.
